Our Zambian office is based in Kabwe, Central Province, and is home to a passionate and experienced team of six staff members, all dedicated to supporting children and young people across Makalulu and beyond.

Lishebo Mwenda
Director

Lishebo oversees all of Zamcog’s operations in Zambia, working with both the UK and Zambia board of directors to ensure we stay on mission with clear strategy and direction. He brings over 15 years of experience in the development sector, with a particular focus on improving outcomes for children and youth.

Penelope Chama
Finance & Administration Manager

Penelope leads all our administrative and financial processes in Zambia. With more than five years’ experience in finance, she ensures the smooth running of our systems and supports the wider team with day-to-day operations.

Zelipa Daka
Supervising Social Welfare Officer

Zelipa plays a key role in managing our programmes and supporting the overall welfare of the children under Zamcog’s sponsorship.

James Mwenekonde
Administration Officer

James focuses on providing support to children in both primary and secondary school, helping them access the resources and encouragement they need to succeed.

Davies Tembo
Administration Officer

Davies supports our tertiary students and helps coordinate our Saturday School sessions. He also works closely with young children in the community, especially those in early years education at Mulumbo School in Makalulu.

Harriet Banda
Administration Officer

Harriet works alongside the admin team and supports all front-desk activities in the Zambia office, helping keep everything organised and welcoming.
