WHO WE ARE AND WHY WE CARE

Zamcog’s clear mission to support the most at-risk children in Zambia through education.  For over 17 years, we have worked in the Kabwe town area where ground conditions are the most toxic in the world and in particular, Makalulu – the largest slum area in southern Africa.

OUR WORK

Zamcog is a UK based registered charity focused on raising funds for the relief of poverty through the provision of education in Kabwe, Zambia.

Through the Zamcog Zambia, we support children through primary, secondary and tertiary education and training programmes. Further to our funding of education and training programmes, we fund feeding and housing schemes to ensure that our students have the necessary access to the fundamental rights of food and shelter.

We firmly believe that in order to effectively educate children, their well-being must be prioritised first and foremost.
